On December 26, 2017, the Dover Fire Dept. was alerted for a car fire, with possible extension into a house in the 900 block of E. Division St. A full structural response was transmitted. E3, under the direction of Fire Chief Carleton Carey Jr. was first on scene to find a vehicle on fire, adjacent to a structure. Crews advanced a 1-3/4” attack line to extinguish the vehicle. L2 arrived on scene and assisted with extinguishment and checking for extension into the structure. Nobody was injured in the incident, the scene was placed under control and turned over to Dover PD for investigation.
