On Friday, “Miss Jackie” McCabe invited “Firefighter Paul” to the Dover Public Library to inform parents about smoke detectors and safety with portable heaters. He also helped the children understand that firefighters are their friends. The Dover Fire Dept. is very proud of the ongoing efforts that Firefighter Paul Eichler accomplishes on a daily basis. Not only is he a Battalion Chief for a Maryland County Career Fire Department, but he heads up the Delaware Sprinkler Coalition and volunteers numerous hours promoting fire safety and awareness. We are very lucky to have him amongst our ranks.
