DVFA Fallen Firefighter Memorial - DVFA Monument, Dover

On Sunday, June 13th, the members of Clayton and Dover Fire Department assisted the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association by providing a flag arch during a Memorial Service. The service was held to honor nine members of Wilmington Fire Department who fell in the line of duty. Those individuals honored were; George A. Rogerson, George T. Crokett, John S. Wadsley, Robert H. Grahm, Daniel F. McGranary, Charles H. Fullerton, Arthur A. Veal Sr, Michael J. Kirlin Sr, and Smith R. Simpkins. These names where added to the memorial to forever be honored as fallen heroes. A special thanks to DFD Past Chief's Whitham and Boyer, Asst Chief's Mullaney, O'Connor, West and Firefighter Peters who took time out of their weekend to honor these Wilmington Firemen.
