Working House Fire - 34 Willis Rd, Dover

On 07/20/2010 at 1346, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire. E4, under the direction of Asst Chief West, arrived on location to find a 2-1/2 story, row home, middle of the row, with a heavy smoke condition present from the “A” and “C” sides of the structure. E4’s crew advanced a 1 ¾” attack line through the front door. L1 arrived on scene and began vertical ventilation and search and rescue while E2’s arriving crew advanced a second 1 ¾” attack line to the front door. The fire was stopped quickly in the room of origin. E43-2’s crew assisted in overhaul. The scene was placed under control and turned over to the City FMO for investigation.
