On 08/05/2010 at 1554, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for an electric hazard involving a vehicle at 977 Artis Drive, Dover. R1, under the Command of FF Small arrived on scene and found a tractor-trailer entangled in telephone and power lines. A section of the pole had been sheared off and was resting on the roof of the trailer. The driver had removed himself from the cab safely prior to the Fire Departments arrival and was not injured. Crews shut down the roadway and contacted the appropriate utility companies. The roadway remained closed until all utilities could be secured.
