Working House Fire - Maple Parkway

On January 13, 2011 at 0325, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a working house fire at 631 Maple Parkway. E4, under the direction of Chief Fortney, was first on scene and found fire showing from the basement and ground floor of a single-story, residential dwelling. E4’s crew advanced a 1-3/4” attack line into the residence. E3 arrived on scene and was directed to advance another 1-3/4” attack line. E2 and E54-5 arrived on scene and performed primary and secondary searches with negative results. E43-6 arrived on scene and established the RIT. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and performed overhaul. The fire is under investigation by the City of Dover Fire Marshal’s office.
