DFD Brings in the New Year with Working Fire - Kent Acres

On 01/01/13 at 0356 hrs, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched to 127 Saxton Rd for a working house fire. L1, under the direction of Deputy Chief M. Carey, arrived on scene to find a one-story, single family dwelling, with fire showing from the roof. L1 secured a hydrant and advanced a 1-3/4” attack line for an aggressive interior attack. E7 arrived on scene and provided the truck company functions. E2 arrived on scene and preformed the primary and secondary searches which proved negative. E6 assisted with overhaul. The scene is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s office.
