Emergency Dial 9-1-1
While most of you are home sleeping, the DFD has 15 members in quarters spending time away from their families, staffing the fire trucks to help keep you and you families safe. Due to the icy roadways, response times are longer if members have to respond from their homes and having a staffed firehouse lowers those response times. So far this evening crews have handled 7 incidents and even found some time in between to stop and get some ice cream from one of the local grocery stores. Due to crews being committed to the firehouse for the night, this is a chance for them to be able to grab a snack and relax a little! Sleep well everyone, Dover Fire has got it covered!
