On November 5, 2018 at 0257, the DFD was alerted as part of a 4th due alarm assignment to Willey Farms in Townsend, New Castle County. E2 and L2 responded and joined departments from MD, DE and PA in fighting a fire in a 60,000 sq ft complex. DFD units operated on scene for four hours. The fire ended up at 7 alarms. Unfortunately, the complex is a total loss.
