Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On January 9, 2011 at 1534, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a working house fire at 118 Shadow Court. Dover E4, under the direction of Chief Fortney, was first on scene and found fire showing from the attic space above a garage on a 2-story single family dwelling. E4’s crew established a water supply and advanced a 1-3/4” attack line. As additional crews arrived, a second 1-3/4” attack line was placed in service and the residence was laddered and searched. Mutual aid from Camden-Wyoming VFC and Little Creek VFC arrived on scene. RIT was established. Primary and secondary searches were completed with negative findings. The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the section of origin.
