Ladder Company Assist - Camden

Thursday, July 2, 2015

On February 4, 2011 at 1557, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a Ladder Co. assist with the Camden-Wyoming VFC. Dover responded with the ladder and two engines to a fully involved vehicle repair facility. Once on scene, crews set up the aerial for operation and established a secondary water supply. E3’s crew assisted with the suppression efforts. Crews encountered heavy fire loads inside the structure, as well as several vehicles on fire on the “A” side outside. Due to an aggressive attack, the fire did not spread to any adjacent buildings. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
