Advanced Vehicle Rescue Training - DSFS - Off-site location

Thursday, July 2, 2015

On May 24, 2011, the Dover Fire Department participated in an advanced vehicle rescue training session put on by the Delaware State Fire School. The Department met at an off-site location where crews were given an extrication scenario with multiple subjects trapped. The vehicles were in precarious positions which made removing the patients difficult. Crews honed their skills by employing stabilization equipment and numerous rescue tools to affect a timely and safe removal of the patients.
