Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On March 27, 2012 at 0701, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle into Silver Lake with a subject still inside the vehicle. Brush 9/Marine 1, under the direction of Asst Chief Whitt was first on scene to find a vehicle, upright in the water. Rescue 1 arrived on scene and Asst Chief D. Carey assumed Command. The driver of the vehicle had been removed by Dover Police. Crews assisted in getting the subject to the ambulance where he was subsequently transported to the local Emergency Department. The incident is under investigation by the Dover Police Department.
