Working House Fire - Ann Ave.

On April 2, 2012 at 1844, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a working house fire at 118 Ann Ave. Fire Chief Jack Fortney was first on scene in the Command Car to find a 1-1/2-story single family residence with fire showing from the “B” and “C” sides of the residence. E4 arrived first, established a water supply and advanced a 1-3/4” attack line for an interior attack. L1arrived on scene and performed a search and rescue with negative findings. L2 arrived on scene and was directed to advance a second 1-3/4” attack line inside the residence. E3 arrived on scene and established the RIT in the front yard, E6 arrived and was pulled into the manpower pool. The fire was extinguished and salvage and overhaul were performed. The scene was placed under control. The fire is being investigated by the City of Dover FMO.
