Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On March 26, 2013 at 2215, the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle collision (MVC) with subjects trapped. Chief West was first on scene to find a two-vehicle, head on collision with one subject trapped. E4 and E2 arrived on scene and simultaneously stabilized the vehicle with the subject entrapped and began extrication. Additional crew members tended to those injured subjects already out of the vehicles. The patient was extricated from the vehicle after the passenger door was removed. The subject was transported to the local Trauma Center along with two other subjects. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
