Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On May 22, 2013 at 1418, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a ladder company assist with the Camden-Wyoming VFC to our south. E3 and L1 responded to the scene and E2 provided cover up at the CWVFC. When on scene, crews encountered active fire throughout the house. CWVFC Chief Rigsby ordered the aerial to the roof to assist in vertical ventilation and suppression. Additional DFD crews advanced hand lines into the structure for suppression and overhaul. The master stream was used for overhaul and the final mop up of the fire. Four surrounding departments were on hand to assist in the house fire.
