Working House Fire in Camden-Wyoming

On March 18, 2014 at 2336 hours the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a ladder company assist in a neighboring fire district for a working house fire. L1 and E4 responded to the scene and both units were directed to the second floor and attic for fire suppression. Crews advanced a 1-3/4” attack line through the rear of the residence to the interior of the house and made attic access in a front bedroom. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions. Crews worked for approximately 1 hour extinguishing hotspots inside the residence and attic area. Crews from Camden-Wyoming VFC made a good stop of the fire with an aggressive interior attack thru the front door.
