Occupied 53' Trailer Fire

On May 9, 2014, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for an unattached 53’ trailer behind a business at 4128 Forrest Ave on fire. Several calls were being taken on the fire. E2 under the direction of Deputy Chief Hall was first on scene followed moments later by E6. Crews advanced a 1-3/4” attack line from E6 and began extinguishment. E4 and E7 arrived shortly after and assisted with suppression efforts and overhaul. A 1-3/4” foam line was taken from E2 to assist in overhaul and hot spots. One subject living within the trailer was displaced. The scene was turned over to the State Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.
