Emergency Dial 9-1-1
On May 10, 2014 at 0509 hrs, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a ladder company assist at 4984 Kenton Rd. L2 and E4 responded. Upon arrival, they assisted Cheswold VFC members on scene with fire suppression, search and rescue and overhaul. Initial arriving units from Cheswold VFC encountered heavy fire conditions on the second floor of a two-story, single family house. Some residents were transported to the Trauma Center for burns and smoke inhalation. The scene is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office.
