Today, the Dover Fire Department wishes great luck to Life Member Doug Haddad and his wife Sue on their new journey in life as they retire to Florida. Doug is a Vietnam Veteran that served as a Pararescueman and Firefighter. He joined the DFD in July 1978 and was one of the original Dover/Kent County Paramedics. Doug was the DFD’s leading authority on pump operations and was a mentor to numerous current operators. We will sorely miss Doug and all that he has contributed to the Department. We wish him and Sue all the best in their new life in sunny Florida.
