Working Trailer Fire

On January 9, 2014 at 1118, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a working trailer fire with reported subjects trapped. While en route, responding units were advised that all occupants were now out of the residence. State Fire Marshal Brode was first on scene and advised incoming units that he was on scene with smoke showing. Fire Chief M. Carey was next on scene and confirmed a working alarm and assumed Command. E6 arrived and was directed to advance a 1-3/4" attack line through the side door. E3 arrived on scene and was directed to supply E6 with water if need be. E7 arrived on scene and secured utilities. Interior crews made a quick knock down of the fire and contained it to the room of origin. The Red Cross was contacted for displaced residents and the scene was turned over to the State FMO for investigation.
