The weekend August 24 2024 was a busy one for Dover’s Firefighters. On Saturday, crews gathered to conduct large area search drills in an acquired structure, training with the members of Quint 58.
While training, members responded to the Mission BBQ for a Building Fire. 1 line was stretched and fire was held to the smoker. Searches were negative and there were no injuries. Squad 1, Tower 2, Quint 58 and the Duty Chief operated for an hour.
On Sunday, members responded to Kenton Rd at Chestnut Grove Rd for an MVC with Entrapment. Arriving units found three vehicles, one of which was overturned. Crews managed hazards and secured the scene. Squad 1, Squad 2 and the Duty Chief operated for half of an hour.
