The officers and members of the Dover Fire Department proudly annouces that one of our very own firefighters has taken fire safety beyond the station and into storytime.

Introducing "Nico: A Tale of Firefighting Safety for Kids" it's a heartwarming and educational childern's story written by Dover Fire Department's very own Firefighter Richard Flood.

Through the eyes of Nico, young readers will learn about teamwork, courage, and the importance of fire safety in a fun and memorable way. This book is a great way for parents, teachers, and caregivers to start conversations with their kids about staying safe at home and in the community.

Please join us Thursday October 23rd between 5pm to 6pm at the East Dover Early Childhood Center while Firefighter/ Author Richard Flood showcases his book to the childern. The Dover Fire Department will also be on hand with fire equipment for the childern to see.
