On July 24th 2010, The Dover Fire Department and Kent County Special Operations Team participated in a confined space drill at Dover AFB. The scenario based exercise consisted of two maintenance personnel injured inside a one-million gallon water tank. Crews performed both horizontal and vertical entry, packaged and removed both maintenance workers from the tank. The Dover Fire Department would like to thank Dover AFB and the Kent County Special Operations team for inviting us to participate in the drill.
