Working Townhouse Fire

On February 23, 2016 at 1211, the Dover Fire Department was alerted for a working house fire on Madison Ct. E4, under the direction of Asst. Chief Duane Reeder, found a two-story, townhouse with smoke showing from the “A side. E4’s crew advanced a 1-3/4” attack line through the front door. The crew found a fire in the kitchen with a small amount of fire spread to the cabinets and ceiling. L1 and E6 arrived on scene. The engine crew assisted with overhaul and the truck crew secured utilities, threw ladders and performed a search and rescue. Crews found a feline hiding under an upstairs bed and were able to safely bring it outside. The scene was turned over to the Dover FMO for investigation.
