On March 15, 2018 at 0752, the DFD was alerted for a structural response to Jenkins Hall on the DSU campus. Shortly after dispatch, DSU PD arrived on scene and advised of smoke coming from a third floor window. The box alarm was dropped at that time, which brought additional resources to the scene. The fire was contained to the room of origin. No students or firefighters were injured. The scene was turned over to the City FMO for investigation. Cheswold VFC and Camden-Wyoming VFC assisted on scene and Hartly VFC and Little Creek VFC provided district cover-ups.
