Fire Academy Graduation

The Officers and Members of the Dover Fire Department would like to Congratulate Firefighter Jaquan Gardley and Firefighter Caleb Wilcox who graduated from the Delaware State Fire School Accelerated Fire Academy this evening. These young men completed 168 hours of training in 4 weeks to achieve the Certification of Pro-Board Firefighter I & II, Passenger Vehicle Technical Rescuer, Emergency Vehicle Operator, CPR/AED, ICS 100,200,700,800 and Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations. Firefighter Gardley received the Instructor Award for his performance during the academy. This is the first accelerated Fire Academy to run at the DSFS Kent County Campus. We would like to thank the Staff of the DSFS for a job well done!
