Emergency Dial 9-1-1
This morning at 4:04am, the Dover Fire Department, Little Creek and Camden-Wyoming Fire Companies along with St Francis and Kent County EMS were alerted for a reported building fire in the one thousand bock of South Little Creek Road. On arrival crews found a one story strip mall with fire showing from the rear of the building. Crews quickly forced entry into building and extinguished the fire with a 2-1/2 inch hand line. A search of the building was completed with negative results. Fire was contained to the store of origin. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2 hours. Scene was turned over to the City Fire Marshals Office for investigation.
