his past weekend Members of the Dover Fire Department attended in company training on the new Tower 2. A representative from Pierce taught the class which incorporated four hours of classroom and six hours of hand on operation. The members reviewed set up, Ariel operations, flowing water and basket operations with the parapet and stokes baskets bracket. The members have been assigned to trainers and will begin drivers training this week. Tower 2 is expected to be in service and responding to emergencies in the greater Dover area the beginning of May.
