Early Morning Building Fire Mapleton Square Apartments.

On July 24 2024 At 09:36, the Dover Fire Department responded to Mapleton Square Apartments on Willis Rd for a Building Fire. The initial report was smoke coming from the garbage disposal on the second floor.
Engine 1, Squad 1, Tower 2, Dover 15 and Dover 20 responded.
Units arrived and found smoke showing from the first floor apartment, and transmitted a working alarm. The first alarm assignment consisted of Engine Company 54 (Little Creek Fire Company), Ambulance 63, and Kent County ALS.
Crews operated just under 2 hours, and extinguished the fire without incident.
