3rd Working Fire in Less Than 24 Hours

Thursday, July 2, 2015

This morning around 4:45am the Dover Fire Department was dispatched for its 3rd working house fire in less the 24 hours. The location of this fire was on South New Street, approximately 2 blocks away from headquarters. Crews arrived and after some investigating, found fire between the second floor and attic floor joists. The fire was difficult to locate at first, but once the area was opened up and the fire was found, crews were able to make a good knock on the fire and put it out. Scene was turned over to FM2 and FM3. There were no injuries at this fire but a family of 3 were displaced.

Thank you to The Little Creek Fire Company for the assistance and Camden-Wyoming Fire Company for the cover up assignment downtown!
